Meet Ashley Rohde
Ashley Rohde is a smiling, athletic, fun-loving 9 year old girl. She was diagnosed with Stage V, T cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma with bone marrow involvement in June of 2016. Ashley's mom, Laura, says, "It is difficult to put into words how devastating it was to receive the news." She had no symptoms except a sore shoulder. The results of a chest x-ray and CT scan revealed the devastating news of a liquid mass in her chest and in her lymph nodes. Immediately, Ashley had surgery to biopsy a mass to confirm the news.

Ashley started a rigorous chemotherapy regime in June 2016 in order to fight this awful disease. Over the next 2 1/2 years, Ashley endured several surgeries, feeding tubes, chest tubes, chronic nausea, severe leg pain called neuropathy, multiple serious infections and what seemed like endless chemotherapy. Laura shared the great news that "after four incredibly long months of rigorous chemotherapy we were given the news that she had no evidence of disease (NED)!" Her fight is not over yet as she continued receiving chemotherapy until this November 2018. Ashley's journey hasn't been easy, but she is a fighter.
