Meet Maggie Conlon (2012)

Maggie C.

In the hospitalMaggie was born with a golf ball sized tumor under her tongue. When she was just 5 weeks old she underwent surgery to remove it. It was then that the doctors discovered that it was a rare form of childhood cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma. Following another surgery, she began 19 months of intense chemotherapy.

After being "off treatment" for about 8 years, Maggie looks forward to her annual check-ins with the great staff at the MACC Fund Clinic at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.

Playing Soccer Today Maggie is a normal, happy, fun-loving 5th grader with lots of energy who enjoys playing soccer with Brookfield Soccer Association, creating artwork, and going to Camp One Step, a camp for cancer survivors and patients.

Maggie really loves to help others in need. She also loves to help create awareness of the battle against childhood cancer through her work with the MACC Fund.
